What are ways you can get involved? You, your family, friends, pastors and teachers are the best source of information about your local area! Ask around to find out what the needs are of your community!
Here are just a few ideas to get you started and are easy to do!
Volunteering in your town, city, state, country or anywhere in the World can be a personally rewarding experience for you, and can also be a great way to teach and encourage your children and strengthen your families bond.
Are there are homeless people in your community you can help? Is there a rescue mission where you can volunteer or a food pantry or a shelter you can assist solicit donations for?
Are there Women’s Shelters for rape and abuse victims? Do they need clothing your school or community group can provide?
Is trash and litter choking the bushes and trees along the side of the roads in your community? Contact your city or county to find out how to sponsor a clean-up. It could be anything from picking up trash along the side roads to looking recycling materials people leave on the beach or at a lake near you.
Will your church allow you to host a community event for the community, or start an organic church garden to grow food for those in need?
Can you bring attention by doing a class report on the need for clean water or teaching locals about natural medicines in a 3rd world country?
Do you have assisted living center, or children’s hospital near you where you can put a group together to sing, play instruments, or just go and spend time to talk to residents/ patients.
Can your business sponsor the planting of an acre of natural fruit trees for a struggling farmer?
There are thousands of ways to be Charging LIFE and get involved! It takes one person and one action to make a difference in the world, even if that difference changes one person at a time!
