“The Mustard Seed”

mustardseed1

“The Mustard Seed” Author: Yvonne Colond When God formed us in our mother’s womb, HE planted Faith, the size of a mustard seed, in each and every one of us. When we are born into this world, we are immediately exposed to all sorts of human challenges and expectations and “dirt” (sin) is continuously thrown onto that “mustard seed” (our Faith), that God had planted in us. If we are not careful of nourishing the “mustard seed”, we can unconsciously bury the “mustard seed” until we come to a point of ignoring its existence within us. Although God gives us

Going Down Forgiveness Road

forgive

Going Down Forgiveness Road Author: Dr. Chas Brothers Never before in the history of the church today has so much emphasis been placed on forgiveness and its importance to you and me and our relationship with God the Father. God, through His Son Jesus Christ, made forgiveness of sins available to all people everywhere and not just a select few. That forgiveness however came at a dear price in that it cost Christ His life. You and I as sinners are just as responsible today for his death as it was our sins collectively that drove those spikes through his

Think about Job, David, Joseph, Paul, and Jonah just to name a few (Job Chapters 1; Job Chapters 2; Psalm 69:1-4, 14; Psalm 119:67, 161; Genesis 39:20; Jonah 1:13-17; Acts 9:15-16; 2 Corinthians 12:7-12). The Power Of Love In Christian Life

The Power Of Love In Christian Life Author: Ngozi Nwoke Christian living is synonymous with love. Every Christian must possess and exercise the power of love. It is most crucial in your Christian life because it determines both your earthly and eternal benefits. He who does not love does not and never did know God, for God is love. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16 (KJV) Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for

Patience and Faith by Todd Alan

Patience and Faith So I’m writing this as both testimony and advice. My words are, “Really stay focused on God and not of the idols, false gods and ‘things’ of this world.” You see us believers that are out there trying to do as much for God as we can, need to never forget that his timing is completely different from ours. We need to continue on our missions, but do not pile on conditions or timelines that will produce stress or anxiety on us as God never wants that; When you do often you open the door to the

“Do you feel forgotten?” by Shine Morrison I love seasons especially when they involve the apple orchard. I see orchard workers laboring in the orchard throughout the year. In cold of winter when nobody even wants to go outside, they are out pruning, a task vital to the production of fruit in the summer. In the spring, the view of apple trees covered by blossoms is so beautiful. God has taught me many lessons watching the orchard throughout the year, especially about His gifts.

This past autumn, I got to do one of my favorite things – pick leftover apples

When you feel like Giving Up! By Carmen Love

dontgiveup

When you feel like Giving Up! By: Carmen Love Have you ever said these words, I can’t take another moment of this agony? I just can’t go on another day? I feel like giving up? At some point, we have all been faced with the temptation of throwing in the towel when life throws us unexpected life events, and the emotional pain leaves us feeling empty, sad, lonely, and ultimately depleted inside. During those times we wrestle with trying to make sense of the fiery trials and adversity we face. We question God, asking Him over and over what we

Quality Worship and God

Quality Worship and God Author: Nupur Khalkho We all like to wear new and beautiful clothes and apparels. We are choosy and specific about the wardrobe accessories. We have cabinet drawers or wardrobe to keep our apparels and clothes. We need adjustable shelves, compartments, hanging units, shoe racks to arrange them in separate racks. Why do we do this? Obviously, to lead an organized life! How about wearing a lounge wear when a casual would better suit an occasion! We never do such a blunder mistake because we love to get applauded. We like to be appreciated, “How stunning you

What Do You Feed?

What Do You Feed? Author: Gbenga Owotoki An old Grandfather, whose grandson came to him with anger, told him of the great injustice done to him by a schoolmate. The grandfather said, “Let me tell you a story. I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do. But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times.” He continued, “It is as if there are two
