God’s mercy extend to all his children, and we are privileged to share in his merciful kindness, it brings a blessing to our lives when we are merciful to others, and as we open our bowels of compassion to help those who need a lengthening of tranquility. There is a promise awaiting fulfilment. Blessed are the merciful for they will eventually obtain mercy.
In the children of Israel exodus from Egypt, the Lord showed his mercy when he came down in the cloud and stood before them to proclaim his name, the LORD passed on in front of Moses, proclaiming his compassion and gracious mercies, he was slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, despite their rebellious unbelief.
The Lord Maintains love for thousands of people, nations and different kingdoms, although God hates sin, he loves the sinner, and he forgives wickedness and rebellion. But God will not let the wicked go unpunished. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He disciplines the parents and correct the children for the sins of mothers and fathers. Although he holds every person responsible for their own transgression, his mercy is enduring.
God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?(Numbers 23:19 NIV)
Each day the mercies of God are new, we find them searching out new possibilities and addressing the needs of many. In the previous centuries God help his people get out from under their taskmasters, release them from captivity and difficult situation with the strongest force of action. When it appears that there was no way out God made a way for the ransomed to pass over on dry land. And there was no God on earth that could have done what the Lord did for the children of Israel.
For our God is in heaven, and we are on earth, who among the mortals can do the mighty deeds that God has done. For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. Deuteronomy 4:24 NIV)
For the Lord our God is a merciful God; he will not abandon us when we are in distress, he will not leave us when our soul is in trouble, he will not forget the promises that he made to our forefather Abraham, which he confirmed with an oath.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the Lord is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:4-5
Be assured today that the LORD your God is awesome, powerful and mighty, he makes things happen for you that you did not expect, he is a God of many undeserved surprises, he is the one who goes ahead of us like a devouring fire. He will destroy the enemies that is causing you stress and worry.
God he will subdue them before you. And you will discover the power and courage to drive them out of your life, and crucify the works of the flesh, these are some of the promises that God has in stored for us, when put our trust him completely.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. psalms 103:11
For the Lord our God is a great God, he is king of kings, and Lord of Lords, the great God, who is mighty and incredibly powerful, who shows no partiality towards favoritism, God cannot be bribe into giving favors to prestigious people, and leaving the minority.
When your back is up against the wall, and it feels like the world is at war with you, in every direction that you turn your head, your enemies seemed to have multiplied, they have more wealth than you, more friends and colleagues that you could muster up, their words come freely while you are stuttering, they press into your soul with acute pain and you can do very little about the anger that is building up inside of you, it takes God to come out fighting on your behalf, with weapons that you did not know you had.
Our consolation in defeat is a crown of rejoicing, God will vindicate us when we least expect it, his mercy endures forever, his faithfulness towards all generation.
The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you. Deuteronomy 33:27 NIV)
that is the reason why we are encouraged to mediate upon the Lord daily, spend time in private devotion with him and get to know the principles by which he works, do your homework, search the scripture for in them there is life, and the scripture should never be left out of our hearts, nor be far from our mouth.
Meditate on them day and night, so that you may be watchful to do everything that is written within the pages of Gods holy words. Then we will be prosperous and enjoy great success.
God has command us to believe and have faith in him, to be strong and be courageous on our pilgrimage, for we will encounter adverse circumstances with difficult people to contend with, meddle not in the affairs of their lives, leave all judgment to God, he will deal with them in his own time. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.
from past testimonies, yourselves will have seen how merciful God has been towards you and your family, everything the Lord God has done it was for our benefit, therefore we should always remember the goodness of the Lord who fought for us when we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly.
The Lord is our rock? We can stand upon the rock and lift up our hands to heaven, for he has given us strength to make us perfect, he makes our feet like the feet of a deer; he enables us to stand on the heights, so that our feet will not slip for the hand of God is underneath. Even those who have wandered away from God, he extend his mercy in calling them back to be in fellowship with him.
2 Chronicles 30:9. If you return to the LORD, then your brothers and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will come back to this land, for the LORD your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.”
Many are ashamed to acknowledge his name, but he is not ashamed to confess us, he sent his only begotten son to die for us, the gracious hand of our God is on everyone who looks to him, but he is angry against all who forsake him.”
When pride gets in the way people become lost, and the refuse the mercy of God In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all the people; (Psalms 33:11-13 NIV)
it is a mouthwatering prospect to know that God is merciful, it means I am abiding in grace continually, and I have no need to fear those plagues that are coming in the future, for at this present time, the law of the Lord is perfect in my heart.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, governments are changed, new rulers come with different policies, old friends go and new acquaintance comes, Gods mercy remains the same.
