Love Scriptures from the Bible
Loving one another, love for your husband and wife, love for your children, love for your parents and most important, love for your enemies. There sure is a lot of love mentioned throughout the Holy Scriptures by God through the words of his prophets in the Old Testaments and by Jesus and his disciples in the New Testaments.
Love is an important feeling and emotion to the nature of God. Important enough, that he allowed Jesus to die for our sins, so that we can be free of sin if we choose, to love God and for him to love us. He loved you before you were born and he still does to this very day. God calls on us to love one another as he first loved us. For some, it is a friendship love, others it’s a neighborly love and for the special ones in our lives, it is a romantic love and as God does with us, for our children, unconditional love. We’ve compiled a variety of love quotes on some of the various topics mentioned above and there are many more than these mentioned throughout the bible. If you don’t see what you’re looking for here, we suggest opening your bible and take a read through- most bibles have great subject indexes right after the book of Revelation. That way you can read more than just these great verses we’ve put together, but also the verses before and after them, to get the full context of what they are saying. Who knows- maybe you’ll find another verse that is a confirmation from God of something you’ve been praying about.

Matthew 5:43-48 You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:37-39 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.
