Author: Tinafaye
To truly learn how to love yourself, you have to be completely aware of your strengths, weaknesses, faults, habits and truths. It takes being able to accept such things about yourself no matter how good, bad or indifferent they may seem to other people. In no way shape or form should you transcend this message into a form of arrogance and intrinsic selfishness.
What is being implied is the importance of how to practice having an inherent loving relationship with yourself. There is no possibility of accomplishing this toward others if you cannot first learn how to unconditionally accept yourself.
- Learn humility. Allow yourself your own power and the constant choice to be appropriate with it. Personal power is the result of telling the truth. Telling the truth gives you presence, and presence is perceived as power. Being appropriate with power is a unique task for each individual. In a nutshell, this is how you learn be fully self-aware and in control. Believe me, people will respect you more when they see that this is a quality you possess.
- Erase all personal fears. Having characteristics like self-destruction, greed, self-deprecation, arrogance, martyrdom, impatience, and stubbornness are all the main ingredients of fear. When you shift your energy away from such falsehoods and invest the energy toward your own essence and beauty you automatically begin to dissolve fear. And as you accelerate you become more powerful because you learn to fear nothing.
- Learn the true concept of perfection. People misconstrue the idea of what perfection is all the time. A lot of times we all hear the old saying that goes “Well nobody is perfect.” But what people don’t get is that; Perfect simply means that each person is following his or her own path just the way that they should. In other words, every person is learning their lessons in his or her chosen ways. The important lesson one person is learning may be the important lesson that another person learned ten lifetimes ago or will learn three lifetimes from now. Therefore, perfection does not have to be what is considered the ideal by someone else. But simply what it is to oneself.
Once you acknowledge and began committing yourself to facilitate this lesson, the goal of loving yourself unconditionally and accepting who you are as a person will be an easy accomplishment. In this you will gain growth both spiritually, emotionally and mentally. You will then appreciate the essence, beauty and joy of who you are to become a much happier person.
