By Mike Casten ~ Recently, my sister-in-law Brenda Casten was diagnosed with leukemia. Leukemia is cancer of the body’s blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and the lymphatic system. Brenda is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has a long road to recovery ahead of her.
Brenda is only 24 years old and has a husband and three children that are counting on her to pull through. It breaks my heart tosee this happen to her and I would trade places with her in a heartbeat if I could. Since I cannot, I have taken it upon myself to help raise funds to relieve the burden of medical expenses, childcare, and any other expenses that will aid her recovery during the fight of her life.
